Whipsaw's Account Talk

I hope I'm not waiting too long again, will see what Monday brings (lower.... lower...??? ). Have a great weekend everyone! :toung:

Was having trouble finding myself... in the thread list! Thought I better pop in and stay visible. Looking to jump on the train (capitulation, then look out below)! Not quite there yet, maybe analysis would help, a few hours on the couch... "So... how do you feel about that?" At any rate, I'm getting bored waiting for a pullback... :notrust:

You have to swing big when it seems outrageous to be doing so. The market is partying like it's 1995. A good year for small town girls with independent means - from a Frank Sinatra song. You should rejoice and join in.

I'ts going to have to be Monday... dang phone calls! Have a great weekend BT, and everyone. :D I'll be putting a new Mass Airflow Sensor in the Exploder ;)

Alright... what's the secret to geting gold stars? :embarrest: What have I done? I need to post a chart, maybe.

I still have 1 IFT left if we continue south to add in the dry powder... Is there one of those emoticons that is covering its eyes and holding its nose? Geronimo! :cheesy:

It looked like the buy on Friday was going to be at a higher price, got in at a modest increase. Futures are up this morning; PessOptimist has a good rundown of things in the works, hopefully we'll be moving up from here, at least for a week or two. 411 on the Auto Tracker! Directory assistance, can I help you?

#211 on the tracker; not nearly as dramatic a jump as the other day, moving further up will be harder fought. We soldier on!

Handballer posted his monthly ranking for March; I didn't even think to look there. I'm 2 spots behind JTH at #20 with 1.82% for the month! :) Needless to say, I'm surprised and quite pleased.

100% G... Shamelessly following JTH to the lillypad :o ; will be out of pocket tomorrow working on the Jeep (Timing chain/gears, water pump, alternator, serp belt... its teraputic for me :cheesy:) so I won't have to try to log in when I have grease up to my elbows tomorrow.

Well, if they have a flash crash tomorrow, we'll look like geniuses :)

Anyone remember how the May 6, 2010 flash crash effected our TSP Funds? Did we get the benefit of the trade rollbacks or did the afternoon crash leave those who chose to sell before the Noon deadline SOL at the end of the day. If you look at the losses from that day (C -3.22%, S -3.59%, I -3.23%) they don't look as bad as I would have expected unless we were credited the rollback.

Sorry Cactus, no idea. The flash crash I'm thinking of dropped a thousand points and recovered again in just a minute or so... At any rate, its Bquats fault!

Taking a break from the auto mechanics... fans out, water pump out, harmonic balancer out, alternator out. I'm up to the timing chain cover :o and its the heat of the day. Once I get that off and put in the timing set, its reassembly! New alternator and water pump going in also :D.

Thanks again to JTH for the side step yesterday, there was even a run up at the end of the day .

It was a tough day for many, I'm glad we both managed to avoid some pain today. I changed out a timing chain on my Toyota truck, for me that's "real" work, nowadays I'm too old and stupid to do anything much beyond an alternator.

I was thinking of paying someone to just jump start my old Toyota after a long winter...............
