Whipsaw's Account Talk

Considering the rising wedge pattern Tom pointed out, yesterdays rollover at the close, this mornings sideways action and JTH's S&P 2120 target high in sight, may take profits today.

COB tomorrow would work great for me since I didn't have a chance to bail today. Im along for the ride one more day.

Who was that masked man who just made off with a nice gain of 4.10% on this last trade? Hmm looks like the hawk is doing a little cougar hunting!

That's just awesome WS. Congratulations!!!

Thanks RS! 2.5% for the month ain't too shabby. Might be leaving a little on the table... hopefully very little. Back in line with the Burro-Ark for now. Have another IFT to get back in, maybe FOMC and BREXIT will exert some downward pressure or the China Debt thing may erupt somehow.

It's been so long since the market pulled back (that only happens when I'm in) that anything over 5 points will likely be labeled a BEAR MARKET...:D:D:D.

A most fortuitous jump out on the 8th, moved from the mid 500s to the low 100s on the AT (que 'blind squirrel find a nut saying). Now to see about picking a bottom. Looking ugly in Asia right now, and futures are down at the moment. Check out McDuck's thread for a related article.

Interesting... Europe was up, Asia is mostly down right now. Futures are down... MJR calling out support at SPX 2025, let 'er rip!

The only thing I can think of is.... should I exit today or tomorrow?????? I keep screaming UNCLE!!! Then I think but if I get out it will go up tomorrow!!!!! This is sheer torment. 47 minutes to decide. I do think Britain exiting would be best for its long term future. I keep thinking it will not have as big an impact, but then again it had impact when we had the Orlando shootings with folks thinking it could affect Britain's vote.

I don't know... I just think at this point I may cut and run... fight another day!

Looking at the AT, its 7 to 4 people moving out over in, for what that's worth; more moved in yesterday as it looked like a bottom forming until the end of the day when the bottom dropped out. You'll be out till July if you exit; I've been trying to get a feel for market internals (what it would do w/o influence of current events) not getting any indication of strength. I don't know which way BREXIT will go and how that will impact, if we're near a related bottom or if more downside would follow. 23 June is still a full week away, and another week before the end of the month. If I read the article at the link correctly, momentum is building for UK leaving, and could spread to the greater EU. Tough call DBA :-/ Brexit: Why Jitters Are Spreading Beyond U.K.

Futures were up big last night, then reversed and are now down. Reacting to what though? Meat Loaf collapsing on stage? I hope he's OK...
