Whipsaw's Account Talk

They both call for volatility this year. Burro, you'll be in your element :)

i don't think manure is considered an element, more of a substance really.

besides, water is my element, i love water, i'm a water baby. it calls to me. i can't hardly see an open body of water and not want to strip off my clothes and jump in just to see. i have been misunderstood my whole life. have you ever stood there naked with your hands cuffed behind your back and tried to explain to the sheriff's deputy exactly what you were doing skinny dipping in the town's water tank? it is a character building exercise is what i told her. i don't think she understood me, but it was cold outside.

I guess it is all BS... expecting shrinkage when interest goes up sounds counter intuitive.

The AutoTracker says I'm -0.05% for the year so far... after riding out the post New Year drop its CLOSE ENOUGH!

one of the greatest songs of all time! i'll give a bang with the gang but you got to catch me if you want me to hang (insert guitar riffs here).

that angus had so much cocaine in him he made columbia jealous.

The 12% gain for the inverted head and shoulder pattern sounds pretty tasty, but there is a good amount of bearish sentiment out there (15% drop see MJR), DBA was talking downward movement as well; leaders are in F, a few folks moving into equities. Hmmmm....

Hi Whipsaw, I likely will exit. My indicators say I should have been out WEEKS ago. At this point, I am just trying to find an exit and then hopefully stick to the strategy for the rest of the year ---Execute Timely!!

I have been looking at Weekly charts. Slow Stochastic is a very good indictator on the weekly chart. I should have gotten out last week. I am probably going to exit... will decide in 30 minutes (looking at market and hoping no crazy news comes out to shake it up by COB today). So risky to pull out 100% on one day (to try to conserve the second IFT for remaining 8 days of this month), but also considering pulling out 75% and letting the rest ride or to pull the rest another day just to reduce the risk of exit on a bad day.

I am thinking tomorrow will be more volatile because of the ECB meeting on Thursday. Could be a good day for the market then IF their QE is high enough but it seems all the news thinks they will fall short of the mark. I think I am going to exit until I see a consolidation of the Bollingers again and then wait for direction to enter. This market has me on the edge of my chair. The bulls love that I am sure!! :o

P.S. The only way I will not exit is if I see it dropping like a bomb right before noon deadline. UGGhh...it already has dropped this morning but the intraday is slow and fast stochastics are indicating upward...???? who knows?

Right now I don't want to lock in a loss; maybe tomorrow will be a better day... capitulation along with being my own contrarian indicator methinks I should hold another day? It seems I tend to stay too long at the fair.

I don't blame you for waiting. I almost didn't pull the trigger, but I did. Left 25% on the table. Will see how it goes. I did not follow my first signal this year which would have had me out and stressfree... so at this point, gonna bite the bullet and move on from here. If it drops, I have something to buy in lower with.

I am starting to view that not only do you lose on the way down but also on the way up to catch back to your buyin level.. so its like a double whammy... But I must say it was really hard to exit. Oh well.... will see how it goes. Best Wishes to you and everyone on the site!! :)

Still waiting for a good bounce, looking back I should have just taken my December gains, still ahead though and waiting for the doorman to say "going up?" Getting a little inpatient at this point......
