When are TSP shares are purchased?

Like the title says: When are TSP shares purchased? I've always wonder about that. Every two weeks we contribute funds to TSP. Are shares purchased on pay day or the next day? End of day, beginning of day?

Close of the day you contributions hit. For everyone it is different, my agency pays me on a Friday but my contributions hit the Wednesday before. It always uses the closing price.

The buys for my agency always occur on Thursday COB before paydays.
