You probably copied the link to the file and it's not available. Right click the red "X" and view properties. What I do is Save Target/picture to my computer and load it from there, works every time.:D

Save target is shaded. Not an option.
I click on Save As and an error occurs.
I selected copy and then paste is shaded and not an option when I try to save it to "my pictures".

Right click on the imedded picture in your email and click on "Save Picture as...." and then it will open to your "My Pictures" folder in your "My Documents"..Name the picture and Click "save"

More than likely it will be a Jpeg or bitmap extension.

The problem you are having could be due to several things so, the following might be a quick way of getting your picture posted...

...take a screen shot and edit that in paint before posting.

Blue :)

Don't give up on me yet.....I am still trying. I have it saved now as a .gif but can't get it on here. I also saved it as a bitmap but then it is a still picture without action?

oops, me n Scrappy are in the doghouse. I did the same thing. Can't fix it til I get home tonight. Me not know, me learn something new every day. :p

The latest posts give a whole new meaning to the title of the thread. Some times getting an image out of an e-mail can be very frustrating, some times as easy as the right click-save action. Once you figure it out if you're like me you won't remember exactly how you did it.

There is a limit to the size of a gif that you can post 19 KB, save it as a JPG. You can do that in PAINT!!

The only other thing you can do..is open a FREE account with Photobucket.com and upload your selected pictures from your "My Pictures" folder and then copy/paste the "Direct Link" URL address to this button
insertimage.gif

A typical URL address looks like this: http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b47/Atwater/lottery.jpg

Photobucket automaticaly resizes all your pictures to fit these type of forum pages..

Not getting that picture has garnered more interest than anything else on the MB today:laugh: Must be a training holiday.

Yeah..........now I will be embarrassed if I do get it on there after all the interest.:embarrest:

I do appreciate the help anyway.

I have now saved it as a jpg and still no go. Might have to look into the photobucket idea this weekend.

NNUT, I was already there and tried to copy the two posts to my desktop.
So far, no luck! Can you post some instructions on how to save those instructions...................just kidding!!! ;)
That's hard to do!! Lots of graphics not worth the trouble. I PMed Tom and he may put it somewhere where everyone can find it easily. You can minimize Tsp Talk and open up another instance of the site and follow the instructions step by step by switching back and forth between the two.:D
