What would you ask TSP if you had the chance?

:) Would the TSP board be willing to have direct discussions with the new O'bama administration about the problems that arose out of unlimited IFT's. I would be interested in hearing of the perceived benefits and problems that would arise if a new system would be put into place that would allow TSP participants to pay a nominal fee for a 1 trade per day, if that's too cumbersome then, or 1 trade per week for a nominal fee.
I know computers and there may be some out there who'd try to break computer software things, so I feel a limit on trades is needed.
We are a united group that's willing to listen and talk about issues and we should all start with our polical leaders sending them barrages of mail or emails (no spam) to get them to wake up.

Why havent they given us the roth option already. With the market down so much, great time to invest with tax free withdrawal.

i came across an interesting article about the tsp today: TSP Won't Give Your Info to the NSA - Pay & Benefits - GovExec.com
Officials in charge of your retirement plan will not sell you out no matter what -- even if the National Security Agency comes knocking.
i immediately thought 'i know some 2 trades per month limit detractors that would beg to differ.' then i thought 'just who the f do you think you are mr. long? the titans of the tech industry gave it up to nsa and you somehow believe you can stand against whatever it was that rolled them over?' i've never met mr. long but i'm guessing he's one arrogant s.o.b.

and this gem...
“I have a duty to the participants and beneficiaries of the TSP,” Long said. “I have zero obligations to the NSA.”
ironically, the exact same two thoughts popped into my head again.

me thinks he doth protest too much. i wasn't worried before about tsp giving nsa my data, but now i'm scared as hell it's nsa forking over my data to tsp.

i came across another interesting article about tsp today: TSP Board Needs to
Before we can decide what the new participant experience might be, we must first enhance our decision intelligence,” said Renee Wilder, director of the Enterprise Planning Office. “We have to get a lot smarter.

i certainly agree with the latter half of that statement.

Wilder said the initiative would be a two-year effort, with results in time for the next five-year strategic plan, scheduled for 2015. The research would look into, for example, how to make forms, Web designs and education tools more customer friendly. It would help the board -- which has expanded dramatically since 2012, seeing a 50 percent increase in staff -- determine which skills it must hire in the future.

are you kidding me? what is it, open mike at the tsp zoo day? let me get this straight, after increasing your staffing ranks by 50% during a period when federal employees that pay for your existence are under a hiring freeze and have had no raises for 3 years, and after limiting how frequently tsp contributors can manage their funds in the name of cost savings while expenses have nearly tripled, you want additional funding to study how to get smarter so that two years from now you can come up with a plan to hire smarter people?

let me just save you some time and trouble. hire a hungry recent college graduate with a marketing degree or outreach experience and fire the rest of you. then have that new monkey fling poo at the white pages and hire whatever names it sticks to because there ain't no way we could do any worse than the current bag of rocks.

how much do we pay these einsteins anyways?
