My Top 15 sold some I fund Friday and raised more cash. This group never got overly bullish, which may be telling us what we already know. That risk is elevated. Interestingly, there's still a sizeable position in the I fund so some of the traders in this group are certainly not afraid of risk.
The Top 50 is telling us cash is the place to be this past week or so. Very little stock exposure here as the bulls have had a tough go of it lately.
So goes January, so goes the year? A good argument can be made that this year will follow that pattern given the recent news regarding China's overheating economy and Europe's fragile banking system. After a huge bull run we may have hit a wall. Time will tell of course. It always does. See you Monday.
