I just watched a pair of US Navy F-18’s suddenly appear off the flight deck of a carrier , just north of Curaçao. About a hundred miles offshore of Venezuela. They haven’t shown up for the last few days. They were doing that about a week ago with B-52 flights as well- but it’s been quiet for almost a week.

This is new that they are squawking their identity and showing up on radar there tonight. I’ll be watching if they cloak or go inland. IMG_6925.png

And just like that, they both disappeared. Last seen at 27,000 feet and 400 knots, and then they both just vanished. Poof. 100 miles offshore of Venezuela.

Keep your eye on that part of the world over the next day or two. Hotspot possible.

"The U.S. has been flying simulated attacks against Venezuela using jet fighters and bomber aircraft in recent weeks, according to flight tracking data and a defense official. It has also been expanding its presence in the Caribbean to allow for an increased tempo in flight operations should Trump choose to move forward on further military action.

On Wednesday, the president of the Dominican Republic said he authorized the U.S. to refuel aircraft and transport equipment and personnel at restricted areas within the country to help fight drug trafficking."
