That's too bad. At least it doesn't happen all the time over there anymore. When I was an MP there in the late 70's that sort of stuff happened a lot more often with the Badet Meinhoff and Red Brigade. They sort of faded from view when mother Russia gradually quit funding them over time. By the style of the thing it sounds like he was a "nut with a gun" more than a terrorist. The terrorist attacks of that type were a lot worse shooting up whole groups of random people or leaving a suitcase bomb on busy train platforms during rush hour. The one in Italy in 1980 left gallons of blood all over the place. I knew a guy who rode up on the next train a few minutes after it happened and he said he never saw so much blood even in a stupid movie. It was splashed everywhere even the walls. Car and truck bombs were a big thing back then too but faded out until the Beruit marine barracks incident happened.
Of course with the formation of the EU everyone just opened the border crossings so now all these bozos are free to come and go as they please. That's where most of these guys come from lately, they just drive in and avoid passport control at the airports. I bet you money he was just another Illegal Alien like so many of the violent criminals all over the South West US.
