After Monday's negative reversal, the 20-day EMA is getting tested again. It looks fairly important for the next 1% move as a failure would likely mean a revisit to the 50-day EMA like prior breaks...

The Nasdaq 100 is cracking a bit here, down over 1% and falling from the "F" flag, and down to the bottom of the large bear flag.

For what it's worth (probably just entertainment value) here's the chart of 2016 before / after July 4th. We just got over the Brexit dump so maybe with yesterday's action there's some similarities...

The day's not over, but yet another successful test of the 50-day EMA this morning on S&P and small caps (dwcpf).

New intraday all-time high for the DWCPF (small caps) as it flirts with the overhead resistance lines that held throughout June. The bear flag (blue) did not break down and instead gapped to the upside leaving that open gap near 1225. The close here looks to be quite important

The energy sector is back up to the descending resistance again. Can it finally break the downtrend, or is another trip to new lows?

Another gap down for the dollar but it is now testing some descending support. The I-fund may have a breeze in its face for a few days after today.

Technically, the financials are looking very interesting. We have a bull flag and a large cup and handle formed. Does this mean yields are getting ready to rise (bonds prices falling)? This week's FOMC meeting could be the catalyst.
