Hi Tom, We played tonight, payed the $20K and I don't think it will be a problem considering we get $15K in new chips every time we log on to PokerStars.
We missed you but had a great time tonight!!!
PSA!!! WE want MORE PEOPLE to sign up and play!! We welcome new players at any time and beginners are always welcome! We just changed our schedule and now play every Sunday at 7 PM CT.

I had to recreate a new tournament to get one for next week - basically I started all over so if you registered for any tournament already you may have to do it again. Sorry.
So now it looks like there is a game every Sunday, but I though I did that yesterday too so... :dunno:

HI PO, Every time you log in, look in right hand corner. There is a button that says "FREE CHIPS". Click on it and it will give you $15K in free chips.
Since game now costs $20K, you will need to log in every day for a few days to build up your chip count. I think it only gives you the free chips once a day.
I was not able to get in... I could not find the game. I am going to ask Tom about it. I do see a game for 1/26, and I have registered for it. I guess no play for tonight unless we coordinate to play at the same open table on POker Stars.

HI PO, There are a couple ways around this. I did not know free chips refresh every 4 hours ---Thanks for info on that Tom !!!
So either go in every 4-5 hours, click on Free chips to get 15K at a pop, and build yourself a little pot. Plus every time we play on Sunday remember to hit the Free Chips button to keep up your stash. This is likely the BEST way to build up chips.
Alternative: You and me agree on date and time to meet at PokerStars table, and you work to get familiar with how to quickly find a table at Poker Stars by TABLE name.
Then on agreed date/time, I will let you know what table I am at (i.e. post the name here) and you find me at that table and sit down. Table will likely have a low buy in of about $4k. Then I will lose/donate a few BIG hands to you while no one else is at the table (hopefully). Thereafter you just remember to click FREE Chips every Sunday when you come to our TSPTALK poker table.

Thanks about the alternative scheme, I think. Let’s not do that. It does say a lot about my lack of poker skills. I used to hold my own in groups of airmen at friendly games with a quarter limit. I figured out how to get free chips. I haven’t seen the green free chips button for a while, all I see is star rewards. I had enough of a stash when it was 450 per game so I didn’t really notice. Now at 20,000 it didn’t take long to run dry. For whatever reason I get no free chip button but if I go to cashier/play money tab and click collect, it gives me 15,000 chips. Only works every four hours. So I am working on it.
