And if you inspect that image I just uploaded... it says its a jpg, even though I uploaded a GIF.

I've been using MS Paint to create the file. Once I get home I can try other programs. Nothing on my work computer seemed to produce anything better in JPG.

I tried GIFs, BMPs, JPGs, and PNGs. I most often use PNGs because they seem to be the smallest and have great quality.

JPGs lose the the crisp-ness. and GIFs lose the resolution I guess.

Right, PNG are reported to have the best quality per size.

If you have an app that allows you to change the parameters of the jpg format when you save image files, then you can try setting it to perform no compression. (I'll check if Paint allows this. I know I've done it before with something. If not paint, I'll let you know what I used.) The hope here is that, as you seemed to suggest, the vbulletin software won't see fit to compress the file as it is already a jpg. So the higher quality jpg is passed through, without being reduced by vbulletin.

We'll see. :)

winterthyme=alevin. winter is when the fish are laying low, waiting for spring snowmelt and high water to go down. and this one is looking forward to gardening season and fresh herbs for cooking too. :cheesy:

Dang, I'm not able to access it from work. All well, is anyone else able to?

Everyone with the link has 'Edit' privileges, so the drop-down boxes and date-choosers work. But I've protected the cells that aren't 'user inputs', so you shouldn't have to worry about messing anything up by accident. Plus the 'master' copy will remain an Excel file on my desktop, not a google-sheets file. With that said, please don't intentionally try to muck it up, as I'm sure there are ways to. I don't really want to upload a fresh copy every day :cheesy:

So this is what I was thinking...
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15vWMhC1hn-E8a9DtGuZ1mtXcZp-cki7F8Ia0BZyIpNg/edit?usp=sharing

Its really slow to calculate unfortunately. Excel is almost instantaneous.

The cells highlighted in Aqua (5 of them total) are editable. 2 have drop-down arrows (only appears if your mouse is near) and 2 you can double-click to get a date-chooser.

I don't know if you guys noticed, but if you change the season dates, or the Top x number of games, and it calculates the new stats (google sheets takes a little bit the 1st time), the spreadsheet automatically re-orders everything based on the new ranks... and not a single macro :scratchchin:

Did you know Sheets also has a Solver now? :)

Not sure how fast it is though.

Do you need to set it up? What time? I can play starting as early as 7pm central.

Already set up...24/7. Just click the 'my scheduled ring games tab' right next to the tourney tab (that's probably already clicked when you log on).

You can play 24/7. If there are not enough people in the club when you want to play, you can also play publicly...there's always people playing.

I got home later than usual tonight. after registration time. looks like nobody played tourney tonight? oth, I found me a ringgame tsp player a bit ago, we intend to play another game before the evening is through. anyone else care to join us? anybody know who the "gator" is in our alternate reality here?

I think we had 7 players. But I got knocked out so fast I didn't have time to count. :D

hm, i got in the lobby at 15 after, couldn't even get to the tourney table to watch the action.
