TSP Poker Club

Yeah I'm semi familiar with Snagit. We had it when I worked for the Gov. Not sure how it prevents the forum from reducing the resolution.

Que, did he say he uploaded images directly to the forum, or did he upload to the cloud first, as you mentioned?

Also, the thing I mentioned earlier... I need abbreviations for people's names because unfortunately I need to move away from vertical text. I put in some short hand names already, but I'll take requests if anyone would like something specific.
Only 2 rules: People need to intuitively be able to recognize you (i.e. an abbreviation of your PokerStars username OR your tsptalk username)
And it has to be short. Preferably 5 or less characters. The longer it is, the smaller the text will be.

He didn't say. And I didn't ask, because: I analyzed some of his old posts, they linked to TSPtalk servers, and not outside servers.

Check it out and let me know if you agree. If you don't, no harm in asking him. :)

When I 'inspect element' on the images of spreadsheets he uploaded on his account talk forum, it appears they are GIFs from his personal website.

Lol, thanks for the graphics. :) I suspected tsptalk might be mangling the url so it appears, upon casual inspection, that the item is stored on tsptalk servers. Never thought to use inspect element/item option. :)

So, we're back where we started. Either option is a hassle (one table per post, or, outside server). (Or keep it as it is.)

Ebb's chart that you show must be on his server. I don't own or host ebbcharts.com.

Try something like Postimage.org - free image hosting / image upload

I just uploaded this and they give you the URL to the image...

Cool. I don't know anything about that site so there may be better. Just an example.

So one thing I just noticed... is (almost) all the images I've uploaded are showing as JPG. Whereas I uploaded almost all of the as PNG. That must be where the quality loss is coming from, converting to jpg. If I save it as a jpg instead of a PNG, the sharpness changes noticeably the section you hit save.

So I guess you should try save to jpg with as little loss/compression as possible before uploading.?

Try saving as a gif. They are smaller and 'should' be good enough quality. It's what I use.

I tried GIFs, BMPs, JPGs, and PNGs. I most often use PNGs because they seem to be the smallest and have great quality.

JPGs lose the the crisp-ness. and GIFs lose the resolution I guess.

This one is a GIF:
