TSP Poker Club

Yeah....thought I had a chance against ATTITUDE but he got the lucky draw...oh well that's the way she blows...:D:D:D. Congrats to Tom. And lots of fun all ....Again...sorry for MY BAD on the time...Being retired...I'm sort of fuzzy on schedules...See you all next week.

Congrats to Tom (Attitude) for the win, and his 1st, 2nd, and 3rd knock outs (KOs)! Congrats to FogSailing for his 2nd ever knockout, in back to back games (I think).

I believe that is the longest game we've had. Also I believe it was the most players still remaining at the break we've ever had, as well as the longest we've had 4 and 3 people still left. It was still anyone's game at that point!

Here are the updated all time stats on the top. And notice the dates on the left for the bottom section. I set the dates so it ONLY shows the past game, so people know how they did in this past game (you can effectively ignore the word 'season' there)

I have one request for the video of Monday's game. If anyone else is interested, please so state here, as the number interested may affect how I distribute it. And would you just want to view it (vimeo), or download it to your puter?

I have to combine the parts, reduce the size of the file, block my personal hole cards from displaying, and render it. ...Will be a few days or so as I'll be using some new editing software for the first time.

:)

i just want to know how the hands from the break to fogsailing busted out went. just the hands he was in and showed for the win. i want to know the odds of each race individually, and then cumulatively. how many times can you flip a coin in a row and have it end up heads?

just for gits and shiggles. we all know runs happen. once and 10 times and more. that is what i want. and a spreadsheet would do it, not a movie.

mmmm.......yeah.....ok.....well....I'd have to charge by the hour for that...the movie is free, however.

LMAO...Don't be so chippy...Overcome the narcissism...You can do it....Please...because your making my stomach hurt...

I also have last week's game. :D

unfortunately, you would have to live in new jersey. lol, so that is pretty much a non-starter.

Yes, that's right. You'd have to be in NJ actually. We may have some folks that read these boards that may live in NJ...this was mainly for them. :)

It opens to door hopefully, so it could be good news for all.

i know there are some folks who play in this poker club who have never been down to 3 players or even heads up with the blinds big and the pace fast. it is a different game then, it can take you by surprise the speed and size of bets and how often bad sh!t happens when it shouldn't. you need to remember that bad stuff happens in the short term and it is just chips, you lost them all when you sat down and put them all on the table at the buyin, now it is your job to take them back.

i recommend for fun, to try these spin and go games. 3 players, fast blinds, all hot all the time. some games are decided in 2 hands. some games take 30. but it is a good lesson, in speed and disassociation it takes to win consistently.

so start with the 10k buyins, run them in batches of 10 games, forget about any bad beats and look at your total at the end. you should be able to win 6 or 7 out of 10. and some of those will be for extra spin wheel of fortune stakes. try it.

then move up to 25k spin and go. you will see a different fast attitude, especially when the wheel throws up 150k pot instead of 50k pot. very informative. good lessons fast instead of taking months to perform and get good enough to see those end games.

i don't know how much real us dollars it takes to buy chips because i can't. but everytime i go broke i can still build my stack from 1k to 250k pretty fast, and sometimes more, before i lose it all again. repetition. play the games. put miles on them cards. you will see. if you can then buy some chips and play these spin and go games. they will show you end tourney strategery. and fast.

you have to wait for an hour before the site gives you more free pretend chips

Hey burro, I don't get it. site has not replenished my chips. still got the 500 I had left over after the last tourney. I sat down at an outside ring game briefly, but nothing happened, no fresh chips. thought I would get replenished up to 1000, so I could buy into our 500+ tourney. what didn't I do right, Dudley?

you didn't lose them all. c'mon, you can do it, just push the all in button. it's easy and fun.

once you are at zero then sit down or rebuy into a table with a 1000 minimum buyin. then they will reload you. then stand up and leave the table with your brand new chips.
