Very good!

7 girls X 7 backpacks X 7 big cats/backpack = 343 big cats.
For each big cat there are 7 little cats...so 343 big cats X 7 kitties/big cat = 2,401 little cats
total cats = 343 + 2,401 = 2,744

Calculate total legs:
2,744 cats X 4 legs/cat = 10,976 legs
7 girls X 2 legs/girl = 14 legs

Total = 10,990 legs on bus

i agree with frixxx.
7*2=14 girls legs
7*7= 49 backpacks
49*7*4 = 1372 big cat legs
49*7*7*4= 9604 little cat legs

10990 legs

Hint: No tricks here...... just a straight forward question. You don't need to be a GS-810-XX to solve.

7 girls X 7 backpacks X 7 big cats/backpack = 343 big cats
