Trivia

Back to a hobby of mine.

Whats upsetting in blacksmithing?

I won't be back until after 4:30 this evening. If somebody gets it right just move on without me. :)
It's got something to do with the thickness of the metal. I only know that much because I have two friends who are blacksmiths. {Edited to add: if you're a blacksmith, make that "three friends!"} One of them goes to mountain man rendezvous and the other has multi-hour horse rides at a backcountry park.

But that's all I know, which is upsetting , and I refuse to Google a trivia question!

Everybody knows the largest parade and celebration for St. Patrick's Day in the U.S. is in Boston. But where is the second largest?

We haven't had any trivia fun lately. How about this one?

What is the only National holiday that is celebrated outside its native country?

2. Slang term for a hammer and chisel.

OK. We'll go with this.

All a monkey tool is a piece of steel that has a hole the size and shape of the tennon that you are trying to create. The edges of the monkey tool are clean and slightly radiused. The idea is to drive the monkey tool on to the tennon to crisp up the corners so it fits tight to the mortise.

The monkey tool is explained at 3:00 minutes into this video.

Like my grandma used to say, "Baby, that's nasty!"
I apologize! Lord forgive me and be with the starving pigmies in New Guinea!

My official answer is a Monkey Tool is one of three things:

1. A stick that a monkey uses to dig out ants, termites, and grubs for food.

2. Slang term for a hammer and chisel.

3. A computer program used at the command line of a DOS.

LEG...
I Googled it.

LOL...But you're right..You had to be into Greek Mythology to get it..so Googling IMO is acceptable...But I bet you didn't find the answer just quite so quick..:D

Okay Kev..your turn ..make it good so Google can't find it too easily..;)

Right..;)..But left always takes the easy way:D

Well since no one wants to start the next round..

Venus' beauty is immeasurable, and any effort to do so will get you cursed by the Goddess herself!
