Maybe you already know but just in case...

0% daily returns for everybody. Except the bottom 2 and they are -100%.

Day after a holiday is always 0%. Your YTD total is correct. Dunno about the -100%.

This is true. Thanks for responding. It should correct itself with Wednesday's data.

I'll look into the -100% members.

I'll look into the -100% members.
It looks like those two members had made transfers on 9/07/09, which was the holiday. I was supposed to run a script to change the date of any transfers done on 9/07 to 9/08.

What are the chances of me remembering this on the next holiday? :embarrest:

If anyone thinks of it on any TSP holiday, please send me a PM to remind me.

Nah, it's not you. It's probably something I should be doing differently with holidays, but I don't recall if Ocean said how to handle it.

Reminder to myself to adjust the IFT dates on the tracker on Tuesday after Columbus Day.

Thanks for the reminder. I did what I had to do. Now let's see if we avoid the tracker showing 0% as the post-holiday daily return.

Guess not. The returns are all correct except for the daily. It still shows 0% for the day. The utility that ocean had to change the date apparently does not take care of it. It only helps with IFT's done with a COB of the holiday (it has to be moved to the next day).

I'll try again in November. To get it to work, I believe I may have to post a share price for the holiday equal to the price of the prior business day.

Tom:

Reminder-

Even though there was trading activity on the stock markets today, TSP doesn't reprice shares today-they are closed. So you have to run the zero option today, and you'll see TSP adding today's gains into tomorrow's fund price numbers. But you still have to run the zero program today, I think.

IFT dates today get carried over to an effective date of tomorrow.

Thanks-

Going to Applebees tonight to try and get a free dinner. :-)

Thanks James. I'm trying something different today and it appears to have worked, but we'll know for sure tomorrow. I am entering in yesterday's share prices as today's (holiday) to show a 0% return for today. That should make tomorrow's return show up correctly. If you remember, the daily return was showing up as 0% the day after a holiday, which is incorrect.

(as a reminder to myself, this worked.)

My wife and I just enjoyed an excellant meal there. On Monday the 16th we will be at Golden Coral.
Never pass up a meal when someone else is cooking at a discount rate:D

Applebees didn't work for us. Got there, and there were 45 people waiting for tables ahead of us, and they said at least an hour wait to be seated. Good to see lots of hungry vets getting fed. Bad to see us at the end of the line. Oh well. I spent enough time over a 20 year career "hurry up and wait"ing. Not tonight. I moved on.

Maybe next year. I'll try and get there earlier next time.

Hey Tom,

You may want to look at the MTD totals in the tracker for November. They are wrong for some reason. Look at CSI 100% funds and they do not match the MTD returns on the home page and go from there. I know my return is way too low! :)

Jeff

Thanks again Jeff. I think I have it fixed. Fortunately it wasn't a data problem, which can be a pain to fix, but rather a flaw in the dates calculations in the program.
