and I'm going down to Scottrade to give them a check to buy 2 more shares of BRK-B.
I'm in it for the long term ya know.

Got over my initial surprise, had my cup of coffee and the sky was still in place.

Can we please get to 5000 or thereabouts (e:mailed someone few weeks back 6500-maybe even 6200) but we still have too many people hanging around with 'hope'.

Please - just go buy some gold or guns or something but just get the hell out.

Basically, price fluctuations have one significant meaning for the true investor. They provide him or her with opportunity to buy wisely when prices fall sharply and to sell wisely when they advance a great deal. At other times the investor will do better if he or she forgets about the stock market and pays attention to his dividend returns and to the operating results of his companies. Unfortunately, my Wells Fargo reduced its dividend today - oh well not unexpected.
