Typing left handed on perks. It wasn't a muscle spasm, its a pinched
nerve. Supposedly. MRI on Monday to confirm and I'm totaly out of
commission. No leave left either. O/D tracker might be delayed.![]()
Best of luck to you or a speedy recovery SB,Thanks for the well wishes guys. I've never experienced such pain in my
entire life. The pain killers don't help all that much either. I'm going for a
MRI tomorrow morning because my Primary didn't help, the x-rays from
the Emergency Room Visit were negative and the Chiropractor was of no
help either. I wish they could put me in a coma until its all over with. Any
way, thanks for the kind words.![]()

I just want to share with you my worst experience, I hope it helps.
I had a near fatal motorcycle crash in high school on senior skip day. I hit a telephone pole head first at 35-40 mph. I had a Bell Star full face helmet on, 6 weeks in a coma(which included 3 cases of collapsed lungs and 2 cases of pnuemonia), 4 'dislocations of the spine(broken back)', spinal fusion surgery, tendon transfer surgery, I was a big mess. The only way I lived was I was an 18 year old super jock at that time. I know that sounds like bs but that is what happened and I lost the use of an arm, a lot of memory, etc. My uncle died of pnuemonia in a coma. Coma's are not a good place. :worried:
Always try to avoid pain killers for the body will heal without them. I hated it when I heard this but they 're right when therapists told me "Make pain your friend and welcome it into you". Through pain you can experience growth? Tpain killers can become very addictive and can cause more problems then they fix!

I totally agree that you must be very careful with pain killers and respect what they can do to mess things up. However, they can also allow muscle spasms to ease and underlying healing to then occur. As with most things in life, they have their place when used properly. It's just really easy to want the relief and mis-use and abuse them too.AMEN !!! - Just ask Brett Favre what he thinks about pain killers. They mask pain at best or a pitcher is able to go out on injections and win a game. Just ask Curt Schilling how his foot is or Pedro Martinez how his arm is.
Pinched nerve in my upper back. Partial paralysis down right arm and hand.
Doctor was to call me with MRI report, never did. Wait until tomorrow !!!!!
Someone will pay!!!!! Painkiller precautions taken seriously !!!!!!!!
I can't wait to get back to normal. Talk to everyone soon.![]()
You got that right Poolman. When you have Crippling pain, to the point where you would rather Die, and are told that, You want ANYTHING that will help.
