Curious: has anyone tried to sell any physical silver recently? I've heard dealers are not buying it at these spot prices. They are charging fees or offering 30% less than spot, or whatever. It doesn't seem legal, unless they are talking about pawn shops, or some other non-official dealers.

I'm sure they are selling it at spot.

Silver exports from China were officially halted January 1. China has 70% of the silver refining capacity worldwide. That will cause a sudden shortage all over the earth. Prices going much higher ahead- it takes years and decades to build silver mining capacity and refining. If no more Chinese exports- then Silver will be in short supply for a long time.
