Well, I finally made an account. I have been lurking here for a few months trying to absorb some wisdom. Almost 14 years in the .MIL and have been contributing to my TSP for the last 5 (somebody finally talked some sense into me). For the last 4 years, it has just sat in the G with some in L2040. Once I found this site, I started playing around with it some more. I made some stupid moves and lost a little bit, but hopefully will make it back up. Ill try to keep my IFTs posted in this thread, but they usually mirror some of the more active members on here.

Welcome and thank you for your service to our Country from one Vet to another. You aren't going to learn anything unless you make mistakes, remember that. I would suggest that you sign up for one of the Premium Services offered here.

While we may not always mimic the same moves in TSPTALK Autotracker vs TSP Real Account...I always thought of the TSPTalk website as a way to gauge the herd of investors. See where they are leaning towards. I like to see what investors are thinking. I like some of the posters in here. I like to read the charts provided on the members forums listed above. Its all good.
 
You got your 920 and a bit more. Very good momentum into the weekend. S Fund returned 3 percent today with the C fund 2.48%. Nice returns today after getting beaten up for most of January. I will take it!

The more I read from yall, the more I need to read. All this talk about lines crossing makes me think of Ghostbusters. Im starting to learn a little.

Im going to hold at least 1 more day at 50G 25C 25S. I like seeing green on my phone.

Sarge its a lifetime learning process. This is a great place to learn!
 
You've identified one of our key issues SBG. Lots of us have a habit of getting our lines crossed..and ending up either losing money or in an ectoplasmic vortex....:D:D:D

Been in meetings all day for the last 2 days. Havent been close to a computer to eject. Go ahead and do it now or ride it for another day? I will be on the road all day tomorrow. Decisions, decisions, decisions.......
 
2 days late (well 3 days late) and a few dollars short. I just submitted an IFT for COB tomorrow to 100% G. At least I have until lunch to cancel. Hopefully we will get a nice bounce tomorrow. A couple others have already said it, but it looks like a double bottom may be forming.
 
Well, my GTS (gut timing strategy) worked this time. Maybe it was the taco bell, but it worked. Went to G COB yesterday and today the sky falls. Since I only have one more IFT in, Im gonna sit on the sidelines and lick my wounds.
