The average return of the Top 5 over the past 9 years is 26.61%

My goal this year is 30% there are 252 trading days this year, which means I'll need to average .12% a day

What say you?

I'm looking for 15%+ in my TSP and 40%+ in my Schwab account. I opened an account in August made trades in IWM, UWM and TNA for a 35% gain in 5 months. I'm going to be smart and very cautious, but with the full intent of making 2015 my bitch.

I seem to be happiest with anything over 7%.

If I hit double digits this year, I would be extremely happy!

My retirement plan has 6% set as my goal for the year.

Anything over that is gravy.

My desire is 12%.

Same arena as Frixxx and James. goal is 7. dream would be 12. surprise myself. I need to focus.

10%. My 2014 returns would have been near 12% if I had used C/S Funds instead of L Funds, but because of my investing style (conservative) I was around 6.25% in my TSP (partial year in this forum's standings). Nice to know I would have been competitive with premium services if I had the guts to push my chips in.

So, very satisfied with my win ratio and in/out days. I had very few actual days in market. However, I have to accept I will never reach top of tracker unless I am willing to accept more risk.

Considering I'm already at -.10% and futures are down hard this morning, anything around 5% would make me happy.

My retirement plan is set at 8% as my goal for 2015.

I'm swinging for the 12% fence!!! Push It .... Pu-Push it real good!

It depends what kind of year we have. I'll be happy with a gain of 5% if the indices are down 5%.

My real goal is to follow my system as closely as possible, which for some reason is tough to do. I tried in 2014 but still couldn't match it. We're our own worst enemies.

Want to see something sickening?

Put me down at 13.5 percent. I see me having to claw to get there this year. This is the year the market takes back some of those easy profits. Let us hope we don't get routed. :(

Tom, those return comparisons probably make you want to kick yourself in the butt!! Do you know how many times I've said, "Dam***T I knew better than that!!! You are exactly right, sometimes we are our own worst enemy. The glass half full side of me says a better than 9.5% avg. return over 3 years, "Not too Shabby" !!

The only way you lose is if you quit playing!!! Here's wishing you a Grand 2015!!
