at first i thought the article said 'evacuated on the lawn', and i immediately thought 'well no duh, where else are you supposed to go, that's what people do when they go camping?'

then i thought 'i bet they aren't the first girl scouts to sleep in the eisenhower office building, but presumambly the others were at least 18 at the time.'

after that it was just 'group hug? uh huh.'

also, notice the campfire in the picture. what kind of campfire is that? who stages a stepped series of tables covered in a black silk cloth stacked with giant candles and pretends it's a campfire?'

i am sooo out of touch with modern society, i guess.

I was at MCRD in San Diego recently, and a young Marine decided to support the water restrictions by gluing fake grass on his car. I wish I had taken a picture! It was magnificent, but I wouldn't do that to my car. With all of the golf courses in this area, I know some joker would take tee shots of my hood!

once i dated a gal in oregon that had one blue/grey eye and one brown one, things got kind of weird. her name was star. true story.
