I am really hating this market.

Moved to 100% G fund.

Based on my current success rate of -7%, this should be a major factor for anyone else who wants to get in and make some money.

I'd be with you on that if I was here the whole year. I was up 7% end of February and it's been downhill from there. I'm currently around -9%. I only started my AutoTracker here in October and it hasn't been following my real world account, so I'm about 7% gain here. But yeah, a very bad year for me learning the ropes at around -9% real world TSP 2014... :/

Rather be bad early in my career than later!

Yes, early in you career when you don't have that much to lose is when it's time to learn from the school of hard knocks.

At now -6% for the year, I really don't have any choice but to try and get back into the S fund in a week or two. Hopefully sidestepping some sort of a loss and taking an increase.

I would be dam happy with a +2% for December at this point making my year end a -4%.

I also want to point out that this really is a major buy signal. My being out of the CSI funds and into G fund.

Yeah, that's where I'm at too. It's really sad realizing that no matter what I do or how I time it I'm still going to be negative for the year.

If you look at that bottom 30 people's 2013 returns you will see some large gains.

So so whatever went wrong for me also went wrong for other people who thought they had an eye on the prize.

I can relate to that! On the positive side that means any positive action this year will outperform last year.

Yikes. wish I was able to have gotten into the F fund before the end of last year but I ran out of IFT's.
