Remo's Account talk

Thanks Show,
Looks like I picked a good day to roll off my lily pad. My TSP fund total stays the same and I can buy more shares at a cheaper price. Does anyone know if there is a fee associated with an inter-fund transfer? or is the IFT covered in the administrative fee (50 cents per $1000 invested)?

Wow!! I just looked at Rokid's weekly Tally.....I'm a bottom dweller! Oh the pain!! the sweet sweet pain! At least I'm in good company :)

I'm letting her ride! Unless "TSPgoHighrisk" keeps coming out smelling like a rose. Then I might try his investing-FU. His FU seems powerful right now. HAI!

I've decided to stay with buy and hold. You have no idea how hard it is to sit by and watch everyone making their moves! But all I have to do is remember the pain I inflicted on myself trying to time the TSP a couple of weeks ago... I won't give in! The only moves I will make will be to rebalance my TSP fund. I haven't decided how often that will take place.

Let her ride!

Well, I just switched back from looking at my TSP balance..... I took a mental picture.... I figure it will be a while before I see a balance that high again! LOL Easy come, easy go. The good thing is this is a great time for DCA. Have a good weekend!

Had to rebalance my fund. 5,5,45,25,20.
I love your enthusiasm Birch. I wish I had some liquidity to play outside of the TSP. Unfortunately, with a home in San Diego, 3 kids to put through college, and the IRS conspiring against me, that is just a dream. At least for another 10 years, when the last kid is supposed to be done with college. I thank a supreme being daily, that the wife works.

Giving myself a V-D gift today... taking a little money off the table. 100% G.

I'll rebalance the account at any hint of a correction.

Took some profit, now it's time to get back in while prices are still within reach! ;)

I think the Surge in Iraq will be good for a surge in the USM. Declining oil prices can only bolster that position.

Having flashbacks from when I lost my lily pad jumping legs in January. :(
I want to bail so bad, but I'm going to stay.... discipline. Discipline has helped me claw my way up the TSP tracker from 143rd to 124th(I'm beating the F-fund by .01%:suspicious: ) Days like today make me happy that my allotment goes to the G-fund, If the market doesn't rally, I can DCA.

Ok, so much for discipline....but even a wushu master will change his position before receiving a, "Tiger CLAW!", to the face. :toung:

I am now 50% C
50% S

C'es la vie. Que serra, serra.

Alwaaays look on the briiiiiight side of life...
I feel like that last scene in the "Life of Brian"

Earlier today on the bridge of the USS C&SFund

OOD: "We're listing heavily to port, sir!"

Captain: "Sound General quarter's! Where are my circle William reports?!"

OOD: "Are we out of the fight, Sir?"

Captain: "Out of the fight?! Ensign!, Confine yourself to quarters!
We have not yet begun to fight! Suppo!
W hen is our next allocation going to hit the fund?

Suppo: "Any day sir."

Captain: "Excellent Suppo! Take the Conn! Engines, all ahead full!
Ramming Speed!"
