No one comes here anymore... It's too crowded. :)

Let us know how it was!! The trailer looks GOOD! :D

It was slow, like most movies that breach the 2 hour barrier... It could have been good at 90 mins too :)

Interesting ending, so I won't ruin it for you. Good overall, not one I will watch over and over, but worth the price of admission.

Fitch Ratings cut the U.K.’s credit rating to AA+ from AAA, with a stable outlook. The ratings company cited a weaker economic and fiscal outlook as the leading drivers for the move.

I agree with RMI but would add if you like syfy, you'll like this movie.

In watching the news and the business/market channels this week-end, I was again very surprised how many commercials and talking headings were saying that all the retail investors should be getting back in the market now that there are good prices to buy in at...

Really

Hey BT (and BT junior), here we go again... CAT 2013 outlook echoed the tepid global economy, as many companies have already done...

How much longer with QE affect the market? Each progressive QE had a lower affect; however, QE-Infinity is have some effect... for now. Bounces in the market, or climbing the "wall of worry" on historically low volume creates a false "Bull Market".

Be-ware
Be Cautious
Be Nimble
Be Observant

Don't listen to the hype:

The Fed is going to continue to stimulate as long as inflation remains low - probably well into 2015. "Another inflation gauge that Fed watchers even more closely than the consumer price index, the personal consumption expenditure price index tracked by the Commerce Deptartment was up in February just 1.3% from a year earlier, even further from the Fed's goal."

That may be true, but how much effect the current QE have over time? Will they be willing to increase the QE amount (currently 85 billion a month, aka $1 Trillion more debt per year) to have the effect they are trying to "effect"???

White House announces that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the surviving suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing, will not be treated as an enemy combatant and instead will be tried in a civilian court, in spite of calls from Republican leaders to consider the military court option.

Looks like he will get a good defense lawyer and either not be found guilty or plead to a lesser charge (spend 5 years in prison, then get out to do more)...

I guess this is no longer considered terrorism, just a random US citizen dropping explosion devices around Boston like any good citizen should do

What do you suspose would happen if the Japanese consumer decided to begin buying our stocks?

"If" is part of Hopium, and I don't subscribe to Hope.

When the Japanese consumer decides to buy our stocks, we probably wouldn't notice... The institutions have the bulk of the market liquidity, where retail investors (like the Japanese) will have little effect. BTW, why would the Japanese buy any of our stocks when their market has been skyrocketing???

"There is evidence to suggest that Japanese savers are increasingly considering overseas sources of yield for protection from the inflation that Abe is so setermined to create." Sometimes you just have to think ahead.

Japan Steps into the Void | Peter Schiff | Safehaven.com

The Fed has already created it here, but is masking it with an inflated market (ala QE), so I am not sure how much protection they will have here...
