So, no one is watching the OCD... Is that because nothing is changing as everyone is in BUY mode?
What do you mean that no one is watching? Are you tracking the number of views that your thread gets per day? I consider your posts one of my "must reads" as I am sure many others do too. If for nothing else it is good entertainment watching KJen screw with your head!

As for the J-Trader CCI system...it is your table/system so you alone should decide what goes in and what goes out. When you do decide to change things please post and explanation as to why for all of our collective education. And please continue to post! I especially have enjoyed your thoughts that accompany the table. Thank you!!!
I do not track thread views, so maybe I should look at that so that I don't offend anyone with my "self-serving" questions (see Ken screwing with me again)... Ken does like messing with me, but I have thick skin and I like messing back. What do you mean that no one is watching? Are you tracking the number of views that your thread gets per day? I consider your posts one of my "must reads" as I am sure many others do too. Not enough data to determine the actual use yet as a system, but I have been messing with using moving averages of the OCD signal to see if that helps against reality.I would say that most people that are still in are suckin up the Hopium and expect a bounce and those that are out are expecting a major crash to buy in after. I bought back in a week ago so missed more than half of this drop at this point. I was actually glad when you switched to sell as the Contrarian Signal!! :toung: But then you went back to buy and down we all went, sticky pants and all....wheeeeee! :worried:
True, but I don't know how many are tracking his main JT system so I didn't know if it was worth adding the other CCI one. I think it is viable, albeit new. Even though OCD is mine, that doesn't mean I do not value the opinion of those that read this thread. As for the J-Trader CCI system...it is your table/system so you alone should decide what goes in and what goes out. Uh, no. I just don't see many comments any more so I was wondering if anyone was watching. Honest question. As I said, I track the info regardless, I just didn't know if I needed to post it here. They call that insecurity. He is looking for affirmation.![]()
Thanks.Ditto what Crommie said!
Well, it looks like yesterday is going to be a better day to get out than today...
HEADLINE// Transcript of Greek Meeting Shows Money Leaving Greece's Banking System (story developing) CNBC
Hi RMI,
I've been keeping up with your account talk for a little while now and I have some questions about your OCD signal. I'm a rookie here just trying to learn how to better control my destiny and have been formulating simple systems of my own to better do so. Have you been making trades using your system or just using it as a guide for your actual trading? There are a lot of systems out there but I think sometimes people still try to use their intuition and I'm curious how you use yours. I've found this to be the most difficult for me, I only just committed to use my system since my intuition has cost me.
Also, I've noticed that you're tracking quite a few systems and I was curious what your thoughts are on why you've chosen to track those particular systems? I see the weighting system but what I'd be worried about is that some systems may counter-act others. Something I've noticed when I was trying to assemble my own systems was that many times using too many inputs would give me bad signals just because the inputs would counter-act each other. For instance, for the past couple weeks it looks like the LMBF and 10-M SMA systems have acted contrary to each other. I realize your weighting system minimizes their effect but have you considered that maybe some of the user systems you're tracking may use indicators that counter each other at important times. I don't mean this to be critical, the chart is great! It's good to keep track of it all, I check it myself almost daily. But I think a system based on buy/sells of multiple systems that don't necessarily depend on the same indicators can be confused easily. I think if you knew what the other systems depended on, it would be more beneficial to figure out which signal is best signal for right now. So rather than a fixed weighting system, I guess I'm thinking more of a weighting system that depends on signal strength. What do you think?
Craig
I think ken's system is now short
