RealMoneyIssues' Account Talk

RMI - If you're serious about taking over posting videos for Poolman, why don't you start a blog in the blog area to put the videos in. That way only the thumbnails for the videos in that blog post have to load. I counted 25 videos that had to load just for me to be able to reply to this thread.

DITTO. I don't even bother looking at this thread because it takes so long to load. Sorry RMI. I like to read your comments.

I wasn't taking over, but since he is on vacation and I watch them anyway, I figured I would post them until he gets back. I was posting them in his thread last time he went on vacation but thought I would beef up mine... ;)

Not sure about the blog since Poolman was just doing it in his account thread.

Did no one read Poolman's thread for the same reason? He didn't post links, he posted the videos...

I agree, that would be nice.

I would like a solution. I don't think a whole lot of people read my rantings, but I would like to not 'drive' them away.

Tom, thoughts?

Am I posting them wrong? I won't post any more videos until I know what I am doing wrong.

Thanks for your comments, and help !!!

You aren't doing anything wrong. It just takes so long for the dang things to load when there are so many of them on one page. I have my "posts per page" set at 20. Imagine how long it would take if it were set at 40 or what ever the max is.

I would do it but I'm not willing to commit myself to keeping up with it.

You are doing fine. I do yours like I do Poolman's. I set up coffee pot. Turn on computer and check some of the other threads. Select yours and go fix a cup and enjoy it while watching the videos. :D

A simple solution, yes?:)

Set it to 10 posts and it's even faster.

You know, I am so sick and tired of being on the wrong side of a trade. I made a good trade 2 weeks ago, and I haven't been able to figure out this market since and have lost all of those gains.

I am so far down (from the August crash) I can't just sit on the sidelines, but I am not doing very well and continue to screw this up.

Sorry, just frustrated watching the market climb, climb, CLIMB when I am in a short position... I suck

What are you complaining about? The tracker shows you are in the S Fund. Or is that incorrect?

Saw this posted on the internet, it brought a smile to my face and I thought I would pass this on...

To all the girls who are in a hurry to have a boyfriend or get married, a piece of Biblical advice:
"Ruth patiently waited for her mate Boaz."

While you are waiting on YOUR Boaz, don't settle for any of his relatives;
Broke-az
Po-az
Lyin-az
Cheating-az
Dumb-az
Drunk-az
Cheap-az
Lockedup-az
Goodfornothing-az
Lazy-az
and especially his third cousin Beatinyour-az.

Wait on your Boaz and make sure he respects Yo-az...

I seem to keep getting myself into those same situations. There is this aweful pattern and I understand two very important rules.

1. It only takes one trade to screw you. Go in at the top and the market tanks or pull out when the market is at the bottom.

2. It really takes two trades to make a gain. Entry and exit. AMazingly enough that is the amount of IFT's we have. :worried:

Right now I am contemplating a move out. My 2nd IFT. I went in when the S fund was at $19.15. My benchmark when I went in was $20.00 I am missing that mark by .19 cents. So do I make that second trade and keep that gain or get greedy and possibly drop down once again.

I am really thinking about moving to a position of 30% S, 40% I and 30% F. But I don't see much left for the S this month. The I fund is down 7-8% for the month. Buy the unloved I have been told.

Just posted this on my daughters Facebook. Hope she heeds the advice!!!!

Whew, good thing you didn't list smart-az, maybe I'm still in the running then. This Ruth gal got a number?

Yeah, I saw him do it; gave me the idea to do it some day. I already had it half way full, so I just found some others to respond to too....

Sorry Tom for SPAM'n the board :(

If you can't be #1 on the Auto Tracker, I guess you gotta try your luck at something else. :D
