Stay with us! You don't seem to realize that all the things you have been saying on others threads applies to you!!!! Keep posting and keep working to make it better with us!

Good luck RMI. There will always be bumps in the road and struggles abound. If you want to reach your goals ignore all the noise and never take your eyes off the prize, whatever it happens to be.

Peace.

RMI
im a nobody on this MB but i enjoyed your input on this site and will miss your perspective. sometimes things don't go the way we plan or anticipate but i call that "LIFE". i just decide what i want to do and either do it or just let it go. if i let it go i look ahead and keep movin, no need to look back its already done. i wish you would not leave or at least peek in on us from time 2 time. best of luck/skill to you. thanks for your help.

I don't blame ya for wanting to take a break or considering other strategies. Just keep us posted. Hate to see ya leave the community. Maybe your next big gain will bring ya back in :)

What's with the good-bye tour, huh?!

I'm going to miss that east coast angst. Take a good long breather and regroup.

Mai Tai's are on me, when you're back on the BI.

Aloha

We'll miss you! Just remember you're not the first or the last to take a healthy beating in this market. You learn from it and keep moving! We share our experiences so we don't make the same mistakes over and over:cheesy: Best of luck to you!

RMI,

Capitulation is painful, but recoverable. Take a break, definitely deserved. I know you'll be back. Since you just went "S" you may feel some more pain, but even those who were in during the 2008 time frame are recoverd now.

Yes, we'll do lunch, drop me a PM.

When I was in my 3rd year of engineering school, I wanted to quit for a year and "take a break". I got some wise advice to keep my nose to the grindstone and just gut it out and finish it up. I'm glad I took that advice.

You've paid a hefty fee for the learning experience you've been through. I would consider it part of the "tuition" on how to become a good trader.

My advice (I know you didn't ask for it, but here goes): Go backpacking (or something similar) for a few days and re-connect with mother nature to clear out the senses. Then come back when you feel refreshed and re-evaluate your trading methods. I think proper reasoning will be easier to obtain at that point, and you'll be able to see things in a new perspective.

Just my humble opinion.

I expect, and hope, you'll be back soon. Enjoy your time away, do something fun, we've all lost money and made money over the years and none of it is the end of the world. Keep plugging away and you'll be far ahead of most and have more than you need.

nnuut....RMI isn't a quitter, he needs to cool off and get his stuff together, he'll be back soon or my name isn't NNUUT!

Yes, RMI has been through a very rough period. I'm sure I speak for many others when I say, I hope you are right !!

Acknowledgement of your self-excrement is the first step, acceptance is the second. None of us, no not one of us is the master of these markets, only our reactions. After the distain and disgust wears off, you’ll be ready to start anew.

RMI, you can't leave! What will I do without my contrarion indicator?! :D I'm just kidding, buddy.

Look, all the important people have laid it out pretty well already. I just want to say thanks for being a positive guy in my thread, and for the occassional rep points and kind words. You're a stand up guy, and all the people encouraging you (including BT!) should tell you what you need to know. There's some therapist that says "Don't sweat the small stuff. And it's all small stuff."
