Very tempting to jump in today, but one day up does not make a rally. This could easily be the start of a rally or it could be a set up for a whipsaw. Think I'll remain patient and bide my time.

Interesting little tidbit on the policy of unlimited IFT's to the G fund.

I am currently 65G, 10C, 10S and 15I. Having already used my 2 IFT's for April and thinking I had unlimited moves to the G fund, I attempted to move the 10% I have in the C fund, to the G fund, but leave S and I alone. TSP comes back with a "you already used your 2 IFT's for April and we cannot process your request". Uhh what happened to unlimited moves to the G fund I asked? Apparently, TSP has changed their policy and only allow you to move 100% into the G fund after you have used your 2 IFT's for the month.

Just another example of how the deck is stacked against the little guy.

I am still holding my position but will give your suggestion a try if and when I decide to reduce exposure. Mamican posted on DBA's account that he was able to move money from the S fund to the G fund and still maintain the I fund after he used his two IFTs for the month, by using the option " move money between funds". Perhaps that is how we get unlimited moves to the G fund.

This is something I posted in Robo's Bear Cave thread about the rounding issue...

Someone was holding 50% G, 40% C and 10% S after 2 IFTs.

They try to make IFT #3 60% G, 30% C 10% S, but because of losses in that prior allocation, the S-fund went down to 9.4% of their account. Now, making an IFT and leaving the S-fund at 10% in their IFT #3 looks like an increase.

Just a hunch.

Wow close fight for the 60 day best in class. If you have hung in there for the last two months you are doing ok. It might start getting hairy from here. Good luck to all.
