Personal Observation: Strange that the G Fund has only netted 0.03% over the last 15 days. It seems not long ago we were getting 0.17 to 0.19% over the same period. I know the G Fund never loses money, but man that stinks...
And the Fed isn't playing with negative short term rates, either. I jumped into a 403(b) in the 80's early in my teaching career. It was an annuity based on US Gov't securities with a guaranteed 4% (which was very small back then). But 4% the last several years has been a nice return! Still, the G fund has been decreasing its return on the dollar. How would the G fund return ever go up? Can't know.
