Post Your "12-Month Personal Rate of Return"

15.75%

Probably would have been higher had I not abandoned the S fund at $19 and change along with BT.

Currently:

2% in G (waiting for that dip that's sure to come) just don't know when.

49% C

49% I

All contributions are to the C fund (curently the lowest individual share price of the 3 equity funds avaiable to us) building the sharte count base.

I have no clue what I am doing. Used to subscribe to the services and then the kick in the balls from limited transactions and the crash. Slowly starting to pay more attention again.

Starting to read the forums again.

12-Month Personal Rate of Return:
28.28%
:)

Was all in with the C/S funds until mid Feb. Pulled back to 5F, 10S, 5C. Just moved 60/40 F/G.

Heart and thoughts for those in Japan.

Folks,

Looking at these "12-Month Personal Rate of Return" numbers points to one thing.
A very depressed market returning to the norm.
There is money to be made...

This could be absolutely frightening. I mean, everybody kinda looks at the 2007/10 highs. Waiting with baited breath till our funds hit them one at a time - which the 'S Fund' did in December 2010. The 'C Fund' is at about a 10% discount. And, the 'I Fund' is still -25% from the top(ish).

Folks, you also have to factor in three years of normal returns - as well as factoring in the bubbly that came before (we were about a year ahead of where we should have been).

We could be talking about +30% gains just to reach the norm. And, that norm will grow each year.

That will probably be accomplished with +5% to +10% returns over the norm over a period of years. Hopefully not a single year boom.

These could be VERY GOOD years.

By the way, my March 2011 "12-Month Personal Rate of Return" is: 19.88%

Like I said earlier: If I can keep that rate consistent I'll be endowing public libaries to small cities:p.

That, by the way, is my way of stating that those types of returns will not continue. But, I'll take them as I get them.
