Thanks for the welcome. Happy to find a site devoted to growing your TSP account. Still trying to find my way around though.

WTG Amigo! How about some insight as to your distribution between all funds this past year, and are you by chanch doing over 50 y/o catchup?

Your Personal Investment Performance (PIP) for the past 12 months ending 11/30/2011 is 14.53%.

I was asleep at the wheel for my first 11 years of contributing. Road the C Fund down through 2008/2009 and back up through 2010 and first half of 2011. I finally woke up when Congress played their shutdown game in July and moved 100% to the G Fund in the knick of time...(S&P @ 1337). I have been reading this site, Morningstar and Bloomburg everyday since then and have jumped in and out a couple of times with minimal success (always on the wrong side of the fence!). Thank you very much to all of you that share your thoughts and wisedom. I have learned a lot in the past five months and hopefully will make smart choices moving forward. Thanks again and Merry Christmas!

I'll take it. I am hoping to draw down 4% per year when (if?) I retire in 2013. So anything above that is
icing on the cake :)

Well, 10% less than last year, but since I was in B&H mode and 2010 was an overall up year... 2011 was not, so the fact that I learned a lot and still beat where I would have been had I not made any IFTs (~ -4%)

So, I look forward to applying my knowledge and learning more so that I can make more in 2012 :D
