I will not be around full - time today, Wednesday, or Thursday. Wife and I will be Christmas shopping. I will have my Brookstone, and of course WTOP. It will be good for me to get out and see what is going on with the pre Christmas shopping malls and stores. I can also report back on what I hear and see.

If I make a move it will be no later than 11:50 a.m. on the Autotracker.

Good luck to Everyone. :)

Hello, I am back for a couple of minutes. I've been shopping for the last 2 day's with the wife. I've noticed and it's not surprising but wal-mart is the busiest store. I know this is not a weekend but I am surprised that most places are dead. We have a new super target that is huge and there where probably 50 customer's in there. Very Empty. Office Depot Dead, Nutritional store Dead, Dollar store Rolling, Wal-mart pretty crowded and busy, JC Penny Dead, Sears Dead. Well off I go again.

I'm staying G

I don't like having PPI and Retail Sales coming out on Friday. FOMC meeting the 16'th also the 16'th Goldman Sachs Reporting. The 17'th Leeman Reporting. Option's e-mini Expiration the 18'th and 19'th. We will see how things go day to day but the 19'th may be a good day to get in for a Christmas Rally.

Like I said we will see day to day.

I just got a note from a friend that there is a virus warning for youtube links. I don't know if it applys to all or just certain ones.

Thanks, RonUSPSretired, I have not heard of this. I run Norton 360 and it has not picked up on any viruses. I will google for it.

Social Network Diseases
... A common ploy for the virus is to send messages from a compromised account to all the people on the person’s Friends list, inviting them to click on a link for a video. (As with regular e-mail, suspicious links — even from friends — should be avoided.)

The link leads to a Web page that appears to show a video. The page then downloads the virus file to the computer, using an innocuous file name like “Flash update.” (Flash, the multimedia software by Adobe, is used on many video-sharing sites like You Tube.)

The virus often includes a program to steal passwords or join the infected machine to a botnet — a vast network of compromised computers intended to pump out spam and viruses around the Internet without their owners’ knowledge.

For anybody looking for a free realtime virus protection(including email), I recommend Avast. You have to register for a license but it's free.
