Turbo23dog, So far so good. I don't know if I would inject more money at this point unless your IFT actually hit today. My finger is on the trigger looking to get of the Train.

Yeah, today's move hits cob today. Probably not the wisest as I quickly realized at about 1201 pm today. I just was feeling that the run up we saw today would have stretched out over the week. Still hoping for something SP 900ish to bail.

If it hit's today, I think you will be O.K.

Your IFT won't be computed correctly in the autotracker just so you know.

Careful when to get out. 3 trading day's and I don't think Friday will be the High.

JMO (just my opinion) You do what is best in your judgment.

I am also looking at 900ish to break even. Either way I will be out and lick my wounds by COB Friday. I don't want to be in Monday after the Black Friday retail sales figures come out. Probably will be renamed Red Friday. Poolman has made some really good calls lately, I jumped in too early this month and am still down 2.5% with 50% in stocks.:suspicious:

You jumped in 1 day earlier than me. I feel you. A little tougher to get even.

Let's hope for the best. We could get a Mad Rally. At least you didn't Bail early. :)

Let's hope they drive this one up to 1000 on S&P and we can all make a little. :cheesy::laugh::nuts:

FYI

I noticed on CNBC's Fast Money, there visiting Technical trader was saying there are alot of sellers still in the hole at this level, and he expects they will sell off as soon as they get their loses back. :suspicious:

I jut recently joined tsptalk and am still looking around. But I did notice you have a 17%+ return, wow, that is pretty awesome in this environment!!

Do you usually get in for a quick bite when you believe the market will rally, then maybe go back to cash (G)? Any thoughts appreciated, thanks.

Hello mdszj, Welcome to the Message Board. :)

That has been my strategy so far this year. People that have been on the MB for a little while would know this.

They also know I have been on one heck of a Train Ride for the last week. I got in early and actually got as low as 8.15% from already being at 17.01%. So I got allot more Grey hair getting back to even.

I will have more to say today after I wake up.

I have been in G most of the last several months, which has definitely prevented my TSP from going down, but it has also prevented me from making any half decent gains. Later Mike
 
I visited the CNBC website to see if I could find any surprise guests coming on today. Unfortunately they don't show what there agenda is looking forward. They do have a nice site with allot of information though. Something to checkout.

Oil is down pretty hard today meaning energy stocks are not helping the market today.

Russel 2K not participating like the S&P in the last 2 day rally.

President Elect Obama to speak at 12:00 noon today. Figures right at our IFT cutoff point. It's like they have this planned.

I'm thinking about lightening my position to G today.

I will IFT by 11:45 a.m.

As for Obama, I think of the joke that goes, "The impossible we do immediately. Miracles require 1 week's notice.":p
