It's looking better all the time. :)

Remember though, Thing's are happening quick. Intel's earning's sucked.

When we get a real bounce it will be nice.... That's what I am trying to hit.

I'm expecting pump monkey's on CNBC to show up soon. Major people...

Thanksgiving week will probably be the major up day, it's only patriotic...

My kind of work sux. Closing a pool or tearing out a liner at 8:00 A.M. at 40 degrees absolutely sux. My fingertip's go numb out there and I get searing pain in my hands. By the time we reach 50 degrees I feel like I'm outta steam. I'm almost happy in a way that work is slow because it's been a little colder this year on average and I hate it. My hands go numb at about 52 degrees outside air temperature.

Poolman, reading that made my teeth hurt! Working in the cold all day or even for several hours with fingers too stiff to bend does really suc. Been there, done that. Even in high school in PWC, trying to play in the band at away football games on Friday nights. :(, as well in my slightly older working years (icy rain without waterproof gloves, try to hold a pencil to write on a wet sheet of paper anyone? Picking up rocks in a fall/winter stream to measure? It's really not fun.

However, they DO have actual field gear made for that situation these days. Try searching on "neoprene gloves" and see what possibilities are out there for your poor cold finners these days. You might be able to start doing a little better than just enduring the pain.

I probably swam in some of those pools you close out these days when I was in high school, we used to have late night pool parties, at friends or neighbors there in PW. They were FUN! :D

Move down here and those fingers won't get that cold!!! Closed mine 2 weeks ago cause the water was too cold to swim about 60 degrees. Today was 73 degrees, hasn't hit freezing down here yet!! January and February are the coldest months in Mid Ga. :D

I spent a week on Jekyll Island-training class, back in November 2000. It was WONderful! Had never spent any time in GA before or since, I want to come back sometime on vacation-preferably Nov-after hurricane season. :)

Yeah Jekyll Island is really nice, but don't want to be on the coast during a hurricane. Great spot though.:D

Don't wanta start anything tween you an the employer but OSHA 1910.138 may suggest he/she pay for those gloves.

I was workin in my pool today at temp 58F and my hands are numb. Air temp peaked about 80. Let the chlorine get too low and lovely bright yellow algae spots appeared.

besta luck to ya

Thanks PessOptimist, I visited many sites yesterday looking at gloves and saw a couple that I think would work for me. Dexterity and warmth and of course being waterproof is key. I will talk to my Boss today about possibly buying two set's. Thanks for thinking of me.

Future information for all Interested:

I won't be around until early this afternoon today. Of course I cannot send Pm's when not around. I get my news from my Brookstone stock market updater and WTOP. If I decide to make a move I call the Wife and she knows what to do with the two websites. If I make any moves while not at home I will do it by 11:30 a.m. EST. Check the tracker if curious. :)

I'm home. It's been drizzling here all day. We closed one pool and went to Lowes to get supplies for Monday morning. :)

I'm thinking about making a 50 percent IFT. Paulson speaks at 2:00p.m.:)

PPI Tuesday

CPI Wednday
