OPEC+ to cut oil production by 2 million barrels per day to shore up prices, defying U.S. pressure

Oil prices have fallen to roughly $80 a barrel from over $120 in early June amid growing fears about the prospect of a global economic recession.

Within a half mile of my house a BP has gas at $3.69/gal and a Speedway has gas at $3.39/gallon. Diesel is over $5.00/gal.

Just drove past a BP station about a mile from me and they jumped from $3.89 yesterday to $4.29 this morning. All the other stations are still sitting at $3.89. Of course the one station across from the BP is $3.69.

Oil is nearing the lowest price of the year. A good news / bad new situation.

Good news for consumers. Possible bad sign for economy. Maybe a double bottom bounce here?
