Back up over $97 a few minutes ago. Gonna spike up tomorrow!

European trading in oil- now up $7.34 to $101.39 a barrel



Don’t be surprised to see a $.025 a gallon jump in gasoline prices today and tomorrow.

Advice: top off your fuel tank this morning.

A lot of people, including myself, thought last week's peak and reversal was going to be short term top in oil. Here it is again making a new high.

This chart does not show today's movement over 101.

Over the weekend gas by me was $3.39. Yesterday it was $3.59 and this morning it was $3.69.

Shell bought 100,000 metric tons of Russia’s flagship Urals crude on Friday, according to people familiar with the transaction. It paid $28.50 a barrel below the price of international benchmark Brent crude, the widest discount on record.

Gas was $3.79 a gallon around me today.

$115 a barrel now. Probably gonna see $4/gal gas prices in most places soon if not already.

I know I'll be paying over $4/gal when I restart my longdistance travels later this month, ones necessary for family reasons. At least I was able to take the winter off.

Quick tip- go top off your tank as soon as possible. In the next couple of days, you are going to see some new higher prices-

And, if you are close- get an oil change in your car. I think the price of a quart of oil, and of an oil change, is also about to jump a lot!

Change that oil! Because it isn’t gonna get any cheaper, and you KNOW that in a week or two, oil change places will figure out their prices have to change.
