European trading in oil- now up $7.34 to $101.39 a barrel

Don’t be surprised to see a $.025 a gallon jump in gasoline prices today and tomorrow.

Advice: top off your fuel tank this morning.

A lot of people, including myself, thought last week's peak and reversal was going to be short term top in oil. Here it is again making a new high.

I know I'll be paying over $4/gal when I restart my longdistance travels later this month, ones necessary for family reasons. At least I was able to take the winter off.
 
Quick tip- go top off your tank as soon as possible. In the next couple of days, you are going to see some new higher prices-

And, if you are close- get an oil change in your car. I think the price of a quart of oil, and of an oil change, is also about to jump a lot!

Change that oil! Because it isn’t gonna get any cheaper, and you KNOW that in a week or two, oil change places will figure out their prices have to change.

the line was wrapped around the building to get an oil change last week, at a place where I typically drive straight into the bay without waiting.
