Oil Slick Stuff

Wasn't ethanoil suppose to lessen the price of gasoline?..Wasn't that the whole point of the idea and scam?

I think certain States are tacking on extra TAX to supplement the lack of revenues from people buying eco-cars and stuff like that and I've always known Ohio to be one of the biggest rip-off States there is, just behind the Left coast..you can't win for losing in Ohio..who in their right mind would want to live in that State anyway?....Oh never mind I remember..just answered my own question..

Hey!!

A few Presidents have come from Ohio as well as some Astronauts. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, NASA Glenn Research Center, The Cleveland Clinic, The Emerald Necklace (Metro park system) and a few National Parks as well.

Not a bad place to live.

Up three weeks ago, down two weeks ago, up this week. About $2.29/2.23/2.26 in that order. Since econobox takes around 11 gallons when I fill up and I fill up twice a month, I grow weary of searching for that possible $12-20 savings per year.

I always filler up at Kroger and get a discount, minimum $.03 and the Max I've had is $.50 a gallon. Now that adds up.

If we are traveling I always look for a BP and occasionally I'll use them at home maybe to top off. For every gallon purchased you get a few cents credit and you can let that accumulate over a couple of purchases. Right now for card holders if you spend over $100 between 10/15 and 11/15 you will get 25 cents off a gallon at you next fill up sometime in December. They limit you to 20 gallons but 25 cents is 25 cents.
Most of the time I use a local distributer call GetGo. They are associated with a local grocery store chain (Giant Eagle). For every $50 you spend you get 10 cents off a gallon and that includes all the different gift cards that they sell at the store (Home Depot, Best Buy, Appleby's, etc). Sometimes they will up it to 20 cents/$50 on gift cards. They limit you to 30 gallons, but I have gotten free gas on a few occasions.

Keystone Pipeline leaks 210,000 gallons of oil in South Dakota

AMHERST, S.D. – TransCanada Corp.'s Keystone pipeline leaked an estimated 210,000 gallons of oil in northeastern South Dakota, the company and state regulators reported Thursday.
Crews shut down the pipeline Thursday morning and activated emergency response procedures after a drop in pressure was detected resulting from the leak south of a pump station in Marshall County, TransCanada said in a statement. The cause was being investigated.
Officials don't believe the leak affected any surface water bodies or threatened any drinking water systems from the spill onto agricultural land, said Brian Walsh, an environmental scientist manager at the South Dakota Department of Environment and Natural Resources, which has dispatched a staff member to the site.
"Ultimately, the cleanup responsibility lies with TransCanada, and they'll have to clean it up in compliance with our state regulations," Walsh said.
The pipeline transports crude from Alberta, Canada, to refineries in Illinois and Oklahoma, passing through the eastern Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri. It can handle nearly 600,000 barrels, or about 23 million gallons, daily. TransCanada says on its website that the company has safely transported more than 1.5 billion barrels of oil, or about 63 billion gallons, through the system since operations began in 2010.[more]
