Oil Slick Stuff

That Old "It's the Hurricane" excuse has driven Dallas's gasoline prices up .60 cents since last week.

Looks like Texas is now paying almost the same as we are in my state of Michigan.

Welcome to the $2.70 club, Texas.

P.S.- Dallas- there is plenty of fuel to go around, and no, there isn't any shortage- except when everybody hogs it all at once.
You might also look at ALTERNATIVE FUELS. (E-85- no shortage of that :-) )

$2.09 here in the Great State of Oklahoma

Dang it Buster you always get cheap gas, went from $2.09 to $2.60 the day they announced Harvey. I'm sure they didn't overcharge us paying $2.60 when they bought that gas for -$.60 a gallon and made the BIG BUCKS. That is against the Law but nobodies watching.
Good to hear from you again!:D

Well E10 is still in a slow down trend after all of the Hurricanes, running $2.23 a gallon in Boiled Peanut GA!!

My guess is they are starting to add ethanol for the winter mix and that always increases the price. You can still find gas down around $2.24 but it isn't anywhere close to me.

I thought they always added ethanol to Gasoline? Do they increase the amount in the winter? I use non-ethanol gas in my lawn mowers and other small engine machines for a good reason.

There are three general categories of ethanol-gasoline blends: E10, E15, and E85. E10 is gasoline with 10% ethanol content. E15 is gasoline with 15% ethanol content, and E85 is a fuel that may contain up to 85% fuel ethanol.Mar 29, 2017

How much ethanol is in gasoline, and how does it affect fuel economy?
