OKC made World News tonight..Said at the rate we're going, we should be at or below $2.00/gal by the end of next week....They sited a station in town here at $2.16 today.

Weird. I still pass by gas stations that went belly up when the price of gas got over $3.00/gal. Most of them left the numbers on their price signs and they read around $2.79 or so. I used to pass by and long for that price (especially when gas was north of $4.00/gal). Now it just looks like an expensive station I will pass by .... except for all the weeds and that "Walking Dead" zombie apocalypse vibe being put off.

$2 gasoline is back in the U.S.

An Oncue Express station in Oklahoma City was selling the motor fuel for $1.99 a gallon today, becoming the first one to drop below $2 in the U.S. since July 30, 2010, Patrick DeHaan, a senior petroleum analyst at GasBuddy Organization Inc., said by e-mail from Chicago.
