Oil Slick Stuff

The Keystone pipeline is staunchly opposed by environmentalists, who say it will lock the United States for 50 years into dependence on fuel that has higher emissions than average crude oil refined in the United States.
Only one word for these leaf lickin, treehuggers...MORONS!
treehugger-1.gif

Lets all move back to the stone age and live in caves again..because that's how these people and their likes want us to live like..

But what these idiot lemmings don't realize or don't want to admit to (hence a hypocrisy)...is that everything in their miserable self-serving where convienent, and their entitled lives, is centered around oil..and to cut it off now without a viable and AFFORDABLE energy replacement is like cutting off their noses to spite their ugly stupid faces..

Ever watch the show Revolution?

TV.com said:
It is an adventure thriller in which a family struggles to reunite in a post-apocalyptic American landscape. This is a world of empty cities, local militias and heroic freedom fighters, where every single piece of technology -- computers, planes, cars, phones, even lights -- has mysteriously blacked out.

Maybe the environmentalist leaders want to be General Monroe?

Oil Inventories Up this week. The dollar is headed down, naturally.

That is pretty good..Is it 100% gas?..We don't have Krogers around here..I thought they went out of business years ago..Like A&P and Piggly-Wiggly..

anyway..Gas here dropped .02 to $3.17...I think the owner of this particular 7-11 chain here is crazy and can't make up his/her mind..I've seen them change prices 3 or 4 times a day sometimes....I wonder if you can still cash in S&H green stamps?

No it's 10% Moonshine, I don't know of any others that give that much discount, but here might be, check the net. You know we have to buy food so the Gas discount is a real help. Plenty of Kroger's down south they compete with Public high end stores.

I believe that would be Fry's for you Buster. Of course you have to play the discounts for information game. They will know how much beer you buy!

Safeway has the same deal but I think the points expire after a while.

There are Kroger's everywhere (on the east coast), They are my hometown grocers in Cincinnati Ohio. I was glad to see some here in Virigina as I get some hometown tastes like Skyline Chili and Graeter's Ice Cream. Yummy!

Gas up $0.35 since the first of the year here.

There are Krogers everywhere under different names. From their web site:

The Kroger Co. operates grocery retail stores under the following banners:

  • Supermarkets - Kroger, Ralphs, Dillons, Smith's, King Soopers, Fry's, QFC, City Market, Owen's, Jay C, Pay Less, Baker's, Gerbes, Scott's Food & Pharmacy
  • Multi-department stores - Fred Meyer
  • Dillons Marketplace, Fry's Marketplace, Kroger Marketplace, Smith's Marketplace
  • Price-impact warehouse stores - Food 4 Less, Foods Co
Most have gas stations which around here (Fry's) are always crowded.

Gas prices here are on a roller coaster on a daily basis. Around $3.20 today.

Back to nnuut's regularly scheduled programming...

Our local grocery store is Giant Eagle and they operate their own gas stations. The offer $.10 off per gallon for every $50.00 purchased, minus beer and wine. It also include any gift cards they sell for local establishments. Sometimes there are specials and it is $.20 off a gallon for $50.00. They limit the gas to 30 gallons.
