Food Stamp Spending Up 100%

“The legislation will spend $82 billion on food stamps next year, $82 billion and an estimated $770 billion over the next ten years. So, to put these figures in perspective, and they’re so large it’s difficult to comprehend, we will spend next year $40 billion on the federal highway program,” said Sessions, the ranking member of the Senate Budget Committee.

 
We could be experiencing the rally that will rip the fur off many bears - when the Dow approaches +300 points then it becomes a rip your face off rally. The shorts will have to cover in a big way. Let'em eat cake.
 

Finally broke through $200K. Long time coming and a lot of knocking on the door and then stepping back. Figured yesterday was a good day to get out of the market and rest for a bit. I'm not convinced Europe is "fixed" with their latest agreement, and how that will affect the U.S. concerns me. Either way, the back and forth has me worn out. I'm sitting out a for a little bit for now.
