DowIt's a Birch Rally as predicted at 15:00 Dow0.86% Nasdaq
1.74%, But will it hold?![]()
Don't you just love these last minute rallies?:suspicious::blink:
Like I've said very clearly before, if we could do EFTs for tomorrow up until 5PM today, we have a better feeling about what tomorrow might bring based on how this day went....Instead of this noon crud.![]()
Hey Birch, The Bulls finally got on board at 1500 hours. Just like you hoped. Lately it has been a Bear feeding frenzy at 1500. It would be nice if the market could rally for a few days instead of one good day and a bunch of "OH MY G*D!!" days. Yesterday was the largest one day loss I have ever had. So today was nice just to recover a little.Just wait until the buyer bulls kick it at 1500 hours - too many down days and the really smart guys are buying.
To play the volatility of this market only requires courage and stamina. ............
With all the build up of recent cash on the sidelines we're getting ready for the greatest speculative stock market explosion the world has ever seen.
My kids think I'm a bank, can I get money from the bailout?I think we have way too many Banks in the USA, we should let them fail or be bought out by bigger banks.
Broad group of banks want bailout money
Treasury Department lays out process for banks to apply for funding.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Banks of all sizes are interested in a piece of the federal government's $250 billion fund to recapitalize financial institutions, Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson said Monday.
"We have received indications of interest from a broad group of banks of all sizes," he said.
Banks must apply for funds by Nov. 14, Paulson said. Under guidelines released Monday, an eligible institution will be able to sell the government an equity stake of up to 3% of its risk-weighted assets. Banks should contact their primary federal regulator for details about the program.
There is enough money to go around, Paulson said.
"Sufficient capital has been allocated so that all qualifying banks can participate," he said. "Let me be clear that this program is not being implemented on a first-come-first-served basis."

Berneke's supports another "Stimulus package" from Congress - so you may win a kitchen sink! Is the sink plastic or stainless steel? I already can feel the credit card warming up on the other end of Penn with the ole no money down trick, hope I'm wrong about that. :suspicious:My kids think I'm a bank, can I get money from the bailout?![]()
Berneke's supports another "Stimulus package" from Congress - kitchen sink coming! The question is, is the sink plastic or stainless steel? I already can feel the credit card warming up on the other end of Penn with the ole no money down trick, so I know about how it's gonna get paid for. :suspicious:
Yes, it is, I meant that to pay out stimulus checks, Congress has to offset it. I just hope they don't make it an off budget "emergency" spending bill. We have so many off budget "emergencies" now that it's ridiculous.I thought the stimulus check is actually taxed at the end of the year as earned income.
Yeah, I feel it too, save your IFTs in Apr 09!:laugh:I bet we have a huge week long rally in the near future..no facts to go on, just my gut...![]()
