nnuut's Account Talk

Re: nnuut's Account Talk
I'm CSRS and happy to be one of the last ones (how sweet it is).

I am there also.....glad I didn't switch to FERS!:)

your actually @ work today norm ? 22 years in my job i am low seinority leave was denied but i can handle it not much going on in my shop:D

I think a lot of FERS boomers are in for an unpleasant surprise...working for an unanticipated extra 5 years because they didn't manage their TSP.
I'm a Buster (Gen X), or maybe a cusp Boomer, depends on which survey you are talking about - We've learned not to bet on anything, as you notice Pennguino and I both have more than one scenario in mind.

Yeah, took a day of sick leave Wed. I'm senior man here so have no problem there. Felt guilty about Wed. so I'm here today, could have SUPER SIZED this long weekend but didn't.

That was 20 Mule Team Borax....Death Valley Days.

Eastwood was Rawhide.
I was very fortuniate to be in the CSRS and smart enough not to switch. Let's see, I will probably get about 72% of my high three, basic TSP with no matching, a little taste of social security, I have 50 quarters, but the WEP will cut that 60% (CROOKS), but that's not so bad ----Is it?View attachment 3919

You need to do some more research and reading and not be so quick to constantly correct me...Rawhide was Reagan's presidential code name..
LOL! I knew that. I thought you might come back with something else though (Norm got it). :)

It works both ways, Buster. Sorry if I'm "on your case" too much.:embarrest::(

I was very fortunate to be in the CSRS and smart enough not to switch.

You were way smart not to switch! I'm FERS and missed being CSRS Offset by six days - - SIX DAYS. It would have made a huge difference in my annuity. :suspicious:

Oh well, such is life.:p

Still 100% "G", the S&P may have found support at the 50 MA, but the rest have a ways to go DOW, DOW TRAN, RUT, Nasdaq haven't found it (basically). I would stay where I am if I could move!!
