nnuut's Account Talk

Nnuut,

Apologize for using your thread to post this but I want to get this out to as many as possible. I can't verify this information but it make sense...

For anyone who is part of this shutdown. It seems like when we do finally get paid it will come as one check. If you have your TSP contributions set up for a specific dollar amount it is likely that that is all that will be taken out of your check. If that is the case then your taxable income will go up proportionately for that check. I just changed to a percentage (just randomly picked 17%) so the amount going to TSP out of the big check will be more proportional. I will change back to a specific dollar amount after this hell ends and I re-crunch the numbers.

Again, I can't verify this with anything I read on OPM/TSP or get through my agency human resources groups. No one seems to care about anyone else... But this seems like a common sense thing to do to reduce exposure.

Good luck!

Two that were on the ground passed below and above us, but one about 30 miles away is heading straight for us!!omg.GIFcrossedfingers.gif
