I'm still confused lol. You said "I am 100% long in the market and look forward to another positive day tomorrow, but will seriously consider getting completely out of the market for Thu/Fri. I will only consider staying in Thursday if all my indications are positive. I probably not be in on Friday no matter what. Just my 2 cents."

What are you in? The G fund is considered out isn't it? It seems like you are already out of the market not completely in it.

I trade EFTs too, so I am long in my SDIRA (and brokerage account) and would be long in TSP but since I don't have any IFTs left I went to the (G)arage. If this continues, I will put it all S at the first of the month...

Oh I see! My only investment currently is TSP. I need to figure out all this stock stuff before I go throwing more money into the stocks. I want to do Roth IRA's I think, but seeing as to how I haven't done all that great with TSP who knows what would happen to my IRA's.

It is true that you can't make any money sittin' in the "G", I just use it to protect my BUCKS when the Market is falling. Usually I'm either all in or all out!:laugh::cool:

If you're going all in on the 1st, seems to me you should have just stayed in. Some things never change! :toung:

Nope, some things never do.

I have made 6 trades this month, long and short, and all to the positive. It's only when I trade TSP and mutual funds do I get burned...

I don't trust the JOBS Numbers tomorrow SOOOO I will IFT to 100% "G" Fund Close Of Business today. Got to save that Seed Corn for next Month.

Well, Job Numbers came in marginally better and the Chicago PMI was lookin' good! I feel no pain, I made a good comeback + more and am happy with that. Now it looks like a Big UP DAY and am going to follow my rule of not jumping in on a BIG UP Tick, we will see what happens tomorrow.

Hey nnuut,

I believe we are in the corrective phase of the Elliot wave theory. We need to get above 1345 to start a expansive wave. I think the top at 1370 was the end of wave 5 so we should be completing wave b right now.

My opinion is always subject to correction.

(another interpretation has the 1370 peak as the top of wave three from the 2009 bottom with us currently being in the wave five topping pattern assuming we get above 1370 soon. If we don't make it to 1370 and head down below 1260, then we continue the wave 4 down until we start the true wave five topping pattern. After that, EW theory will have us starting a correction wave)
