nnuut's Account Talk

The financial markets will always behave in the manner which will benefit the minimum possible number of its participants. The best opportunities will come when people are most fearful and pessimistic - it will never feel comfortable to invest after a 40% decline - but the same dollar you had last year buys you twice as much S&P 500 ( C fund ) as it did a year ago.

:toung:So what your saying is now the value of your C fund holdings is half of what it was last year. Damn Hindenburg Omen!;):D Mine too, double down.

Hello there KC, sounds like you are one busy fellow? Like my Mom use to say "No Rest For The Wicked", No offense meant!!:D The drivers side is a pain. I unhooked the crossover, had to do both sides and unbolt it from the catilatic converter, that allowed me just enough room to get to all the head bolts without messing with the steering column, there's Air bag stuff in the "U" joint I think? How about that spark plug behind the steering column, beautiful!
So you are clearing land with a bad tooth, finally fixed the dishwasher now just rent the house and I'd call it a good day! I've been working in my Florida room taking up the tile I put down 4 years ago. Darn things disbonded, seems the reason is adhesive I didn't get up from the carpet that was there. I tried to get the stuff up when I installed the tile but it was tough, even tried a 3000 lb pressure washer, no good. I thought it I can't get it up it must be really stuck and laid the tile. Now I'm paying the price. Going to use a needle scaler on the concrete this time!! Back, legs hands and all the rest are sore as hell. I must have been really Wicked?
Tomorrow!! :D

Still 100% "G". Going to stay on the "G" there may be a dip before the next up, if there is one? Does that make sense?:toung: squirrel12.gif

Staying in the "G" for now. Markets at the top of Bollinger bands, thought the market should continue downward today to about the 880 (20 MA) on the SPX but it can't seem to make up its mind. Lots of economic news this week, so I'll just wait and "C"eeeeeeeeeeee!

Hundreds to lose jobs at Barclays

Union leaders described the job cuts as a "serious loss"

More than 400 workers - mostly in London - are expected to lose their jobs as Barclays Bank announced a review of its operations.
The jobs, in its IT departments, are principally in Cheshire and London, the bank announced.
It said it would try to avoid compulsory redundancies by releasing contractors and closing vacancies.
The union Unite described the job cuts as a "serious loss", especially in the current economic uncertainty.
Barclays said in a statement: "As part of the review process, we have identified some aspects of our technology operations where the organisational structure impedes performance, and roles and responsibilities for colleagues are unclear.
"In some cases, roles are obsolete or being duplicated elsewhere within the bank."
Derek Simpson, joint leader of Unite, said 410 jobs would be lost. "At this time of economic uncertainty, staff across the industry are working under immense pressure and there is a great deal of nervousness regarding their job security." He added: "This loss of jobs, all of which are highly-skilled roles, is a serious loss to the UK's skill base." http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/london/7815759.stm

Good intincts...today wasn't the day to be in.
I'll probably make a foray into the markets before noon Thursday if it appears we'll have another red today like today.
Which may be likely as we have more unemployment #s due, I believe.
Maybe it'll bring us down to the 50 MA, so we can catch a nice 'Obama' bounce towards inauguration. ;)

hope you saved some of that sooner deer jerky for the game tonight there Norm :D and may the best team win who ever comes to play , and works for it

NonFarm Payrolls and Unemployemet rate due tomorrow have me on the edge of my seat, although they could pull back due to the Christmas Jobs increase even if it is muffled this year? What to due, I'm still watching the 20 DMA SPX a fall below it may mean further downside? I am GunShy lately and it's hard to jump in from the "G" when the Market is nnuuts. We may see some kind of an Obama rally if you can call it that but it won't last for long if it happens.

Tough nnuut to break!! I used Aero-Troil, best stuff I've ever seen. Makes Liquid Wrench look like GLUE!! Sounds like your Brother in Law has one hell of a system for getting work done - Let you do it!! Don't forget those attachments to the back sides of the heads! Ones on the right are really hard to get to, one of them for the fuel lines (metal) should be removed before removing the heads or you might damage the lines. Good luck!:D
