Yup, shore do nnuut. I cannot remember an administration that ever had to deal so many big issues. We had war, disease, famine, flood, and fire. All we need now is a shooting war in Tel Megiddo - and it looks like we might even get that!!!

His was a very hard Presidency.

A very large Presidency.

And, one should take a moment to get the brain synapses moving before claiming it was his incompetence (or something) that caused the problems.

And, you know what; I think 'The One' might be ok as well. Six months ago I would not have said that. Now, I am in wait and see mode.

His could be a very hard Presidency as well.

If Obama fails it will be Bush's fault. The liberal (communist) media will not let Obama take the hit. Bush had to deal with what was handed him on his plate. Every president has to deal with the failed policies of the previous president. Bush was criticized by the world and he took it. Obama on the other hand will be given the hands off treatment; Thats not to say some will be critical but they will be quick to state "it was Bush that left him with this mess". Mess it might be he will need to suck it up and move on. I hope for the sake of all America regardless of how you feel or think about him I hope he will be good for America. That can't be said about the liberals & socialist, they can only tear down the president of the United States rather than try to rally around him and defend, After all he is America's president, now we may not agree with all of their policies or their response to various circumstances but he is America's president. As I have stated before it's not about Bush it is about being a Republican if Mccain or any other Republican had won it would have been the same cry and cry some more. For the sake of America I wish Obama well; that is more than I can say for the bellyaching crowd that stands for tear any all Rebulicans down regardlessby by any means.:)
 
Hate to jump out on what appears to be a down day, but things are really risky. The Markets are going to breakout of this wedge soon, is it up or down, or a headfake and a reversal?

i did not smoke this batch , but if you have smoker going you could probably set some out for a few minutes get some more flaver :nuts::D

I'm going to smoke some, but not deer, can't get any. Used to know lots of hunters, but NONE around here. Beef is good, but not the same.:o Might puff your jerky a little, a bit of Hickory flavor is good.

sounds great, i have apple wood and pecan ,will work ok , as soon as i get another deer maybe i can slide some on smoker, when i am cooking some kind of bbq ,your corn fed:D deer jerky :Dhas been in freezer since christmas, that's when i finished the last batch on dehydrator , should get there pretty quick ENJOY:)

Jobless claims drop by much more than expected

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The number of U.S. workers filing new claims for jobless benefits slumped 94,000 last week, government data on Wednesday showed, but seasonal factors were likely behind this unexpectedly large decline with the labor market remaining very soft. Initial claims for state unemployment insurance benefits fell to a seasonally adjusted 492,000 in the week ended Dec 27 from an unrevised 586,000 the prior week, the Labor Department said. Stocks up again today, Santa is still alive. Charts show an overbought condition, some have broken through the upper band of the SLOSTO, others are at the top. Doesn't look like an entry point to me, unless it is confirmed with another punch to the upside next week. Even at that this is the sixth day of this climb and we don't see many that continue climbing without a turn to the downside first. So I will stay on the lilly pad until the smoke clears.:cool:
