KC, I wanted to say, as an official member of the "zipper club" (me), I also really hope that you're back to normal real soon too!!

Next I'm heading over to Grif's and 12% to say thanks to both of them (both contributed BIG-TIME toward helping me make my decision to hang in today!).

I used to BIKE, had a Sportster and a Honda. Quit---those 4 wheelers kept trying to KILL ME!!

Sorry I've been really busy at work lately. They called me 3 times at home tonight. It's nice to be needed, but this is ridiculous! I'll do better in a couple of weeks!

say norm give me a brand a rookiie wine drinker would like not out of the box:D

kar crazy,

Hope you are feeling better today. I sincerely hope you bring your stress levels down.

I am a red wine drinker (you know that Mediterranean habit of drinking red wine with meals, it's a wonderful one) and I have been drinking for many years this wine (no more than 2 glasses every evening will keep the Dr away:toung::

CASILLERO DEL DIABLO (MADE BY CONCHA Y TORO, CHILE) their MERLOT ranked up there with the best of the best by Consumer Reports this yr and all of their production including CHARDONAY and CABERNET SAUVIGNON have won international awards and recognition. The soil in some areas of Chile compares to the Burgundy region in France, and the Concha y Toro guys around a century ago went there to get the right grape seeds to make their wines. Another one I like very much is also made by them under the label FRONTERA, a combination of C.Sauvignon/Merlot and is sold by SAM's at $6.99 a ~2 ltr bottle, you cannot go wrong with that. Drink this red wine, use olive oil on everything you cook, eat lots of vegetables and fruits, and your blood pressure will be like mine: 120/75.

Good luck and let me know how you like it! Salud! Cheers!

CONCHA Y TORO makes good reasonably priced wine!!:D

45% "C", 45% "S", 10% "I" COB Today.
Give it another day! Cut the "I" some, stronger dollar.
The S&P has bounced ooff of resistance at about 1490 three days in a row, if it keeps pecking it might break through, if not it's doqn to about 1370 or so, I think.:worried:

What's the difference (health wise that is) in drinking wine and just plain old grape juice? Is it the grape juice or the alcohol that gives you the benefit? You hear reports about the great health attributes of grapes then they tell you to drink wine. Just wondering!:)

Actually, the resistance today was the 200ma at 1486. Yesterday was 1490.
And with the VIX's inability to break through the 50ma, I think we'll see more selling this afternoon and/or Monday.

Good luck.

Thanks Z I knew it was around there somewhere!:D

Your welcome,

For you sake, I hope the rest of the selling happens this afternoon, which means it'll bounce on Monday.

I decided on the F fund for Monday, on the technicals alone. Maybe I should have stayed in the G for the sure thing.:worried:

100% I as well. Also just bought some shares in Jet Blue...have a good feeling about this one. I am stationed in Denver and Chipotle Mexican Grill is huge here...I wanted to buy stock in it at $19 a share and now it's steady at $140-$150...gotta go with the hunches...

Cut that crap out..You want the taxpayers to think better of us?:D
Yer RIGHT I didn't think about that, gonna ruin our REP!! Oh well, back to work, see Ya!!

I am no expert but the way I understand it the red grapes also offer antioxidants which boost up your immune system but not to the extent of the red wine which because of the alcohol offers a more powerful dosage of antioxidants while helping digestion and offering a better way to process food and fats. If you want more info pls let me know. (Free radicals are agents that make our bodies age and oxidize, the antioxidants help our immune system fight and get rid of free radicals. Of course there are antioxidants in a lot of vegetables and fruits, but it's a good idea to take extra supplements, red wine included).

BTW, I understand that Welch's grape juice was developed as a failed attempt to make red wine, read it a long time ago.

Nnuut, since you brought it up, anyone hear whether gov't is operating on Monday? (Did the Hill pass a repreive, however temp?)
BTW, a little alcyhol, like in a glass of wine, is good - it thins the blood, lubes joints, etc (key word - "little")

Red wine is GOOD and GOOD for you!!!!! REALLY!:Dhic!

LOL, This wine thing makes me think of my wife. It is the only thing she will drink. No No to beer. I don't really like wine myself by the way Wife will only drink red wine, her choice being Sutter Home, White Merlot.

She drinks 1 to 3 glasses every evening unless she has to be responsible. :cheesy:
